TERMS & CONDITIONS

By booking any of our courses you agree to abide by our terms and conditions.

INCLUDED IN COURSES:

All ingredients, utensils, knives, tools and equipment, aprons and take away boxes are provided for all courses.  Tea / Coffee / refreshments are included.                 Meals and/or accomodation are not included in the course cost. 

We reserve the right to make amendments to course shedule, content and recipes without notice.

HEALTH & SAFETY:

All participants should wear shoes with flat, non-slip soles and covered toes. We cannot accept you onto the courses without proper footwear. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing suitable for kitchen use. Scarves, drop earrings, necklaces etc may restrict your ability to enjoy the tasks. We are not liable for any damage that occurs to any clothing.

IMPORTANT: If you have been or are ill with COVID, food poisoning, an upset stomach (or have come into contact with anybody who is) within 48 hours of the course, we would ask that you not to attend and discuss with us options and alternatives.

All open wounds must be covered, ideally with a blue plaster, we can provide these and if any accidental injury plasters will be provided. Our knives are sharp! 

AGE REQUIREMENTS:

Over 18s only unless agreed.                                                                         No children, pets or smoking on the premises.

SPECIAL DIETS & ALLERGENS:

We are unable to tailor our course content for special dietary requirements. The ingredients list will be provided but due to specific allergens or requirements we are sorry but recipes cannot be altered.  There is no reduction in fee in this instance.
Please inform us in advance of any allergies, disabilities, diabetes, pregnancy, epilepsy etc,

NO WALNUTS ARE PERMITTED ON THE PREMISES                         or will be in any recipes.

TIME-KEEPING:

Our courses are filled with as much baking /cookery knowledge as we can possibly fit into the allocated times, so starting on time is essential. As a result, it is a requirement you arrive at least ten minutes earlier than the start time for your course session.

If you are late, please be aware that the class may have started. We can recap in some instances however if unable s refund will not be provided and no replacementother course options given.

COURSE PAYMENTS:

All payment must be made in full at the time of booking by sum-up card link or Revolut transfer. We do not take provisional bookings and cannot confirm your place on a course until we receive full payment.

Completion of an online order - you will receive confirmation of your order by email to your nominated email address. 

LIABILITY:

British Bakery France will not accept responsibility for the loss of any personal possessions

USE OF COURSE CONTENT:

Recipe, method and reference materials are provided to support attendees to guide and advise on course content. All material is for personal use only and copyright of British Bakery France. The sharing of course materials by print, press, photocopy, email, blogs, internet, social media or any digital transfer is strictly prohibited. 

CANCELLATIONS:

To request a cancellation you must provide British Bakery France with written notice via email. Once you have received acknowledgement from us  you can consider your request delivered but not before.

TERMINATION OF CONTRACT:

British Bakery France will only consider request a change of course date up to TWO months before the start of the course*. We will subject to availability, transfer you to another course date.

You may also request a refund up to TWO months before the start of the course you have booked however for both rescheduling and refunds an admin charge of *25€ is liable. 

Course cancellations within TWO months of the start of your course regretfully we are unable to refund or reschedule.

TRAVEL & HEALTH INSURANCE:

We strongly recommend travel and health insurance that will cover your costs in the event of you being unable to attend your course.

BRITISH BAKERY FRANCE CANCELLATIONS:

British Bakery France is entitled to cancel any course at any time subject to the repayment of fees received in respect of the course or the part of the course which has been cancelled.

In the unlikely event of cancellation of a course by British Bakery France, we offer a suitable transfer to an alternative date or alternative course, or a full refund within 7 days .

We cannot be held liable for any third-party costs, such as travel bookings or accommodation.

REFUNDS:

No refund will be made if you fail to attend all or any part of a course All refunds are made to the source of the initial payment therefore fees paid by a credit card can only be refunded to the same card.

PRIVACY POLICY:

We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any third parties or share email addresses with anyone. Newsletter subscribers do so under EU law.
